For any privacy question, write to that email address; we answer within five working days. We will give you the full postal address on request at any time.
Server logs. When you open the site, our hosting provider records technically necessary information: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type and operating system. This is used to run and secure the site and is not combined with anything else.
Contact and pilot form. If you fill in the form we receive what you typed: company, trade, team size, phone number or email address, and what frustrates you most. Only what we need in order to reach you is required.
Needs check. Your selections in the needs check are processed entirely in your browser and are not sent to us unless you submit the form.
Email. If you write to us directly, we process your message and contact details in order to reply.
We process your data to answer your enquiry, prepare an offer and, if it becomes a working relationship, perform the contract. The basis is the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the GDPR applies, we rely on steps prior to and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in running the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This site currently sets no cookies for statistics, advertising or profiling. It stores two functional items locally in your browser: your choice of language, and whether you closed the pilot programme notice. The full list is on the Cookies page.
Form delivery (Formspree). The form is submitted through Formspree (Formspree Inc., USA), which processes your entries and IP address on its servers. We have a data processing agreement in place with the provider.
Fonts. The fonts sit on our own server and are delivered with the site. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other font service, and your IP address is not passed to anyone for them.
Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). Cloudflare runs a worldwide network of servers and serves the page from the nearest location; this produces the server logs described above. Cloudflare sets no cookies for this site.
We use no other services at present — in particular no analytics or marketing tools. If that changes we will update this policy and, where required, ask your consent first.
The services above can result in data reaching the USA. Such transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or on recognised adequacy decisions. We will disclose the safeguards in place on request.
Enquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are deleted no later than twelve months after the last contact. If a mandate follows, contractual and statutory retention periods apply — generally ten years for business records. Server logs are deleted after six months at the latest.
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to receive or transfer it. You can object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. An email to [email protected] is enough.
You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or to the supervisory authority responsible for you.
The site is served over an encrypted connection (TLS) only. Access to customer data is personal, logged, and limited to the people who need it for their work. Every mano. administrator signs a confidentiality agreement before being granted access.
We update this policy when the site or our services change. The version published here is the one that applies.
